当研究室では、被害地震を主な研究対象として、被害を及ぼす地震の強い揺れ（強震動）や地震災害について研究を行っています。将来の想定地震に対する強震動予測の国際展開、および地震ハザード評価やハザードマップ作成の研究に取り組んでいます。学術を活用して社会を支えたい学生の希望を歓迎します。

Strong Ground Motion, Seismic Hazard Assessment, Engineering Seismology
We focus on strong ground motion due to damaging earthquakes and promote ground motion analyses for engineering use. We also perform ground motion simulation for scenario earthquakes with international collaborations as well as seismic hazard assessment and seismic hazard mapping.
