アドリアン・ヴェルシュエールは、スイス連邦工科大学ローザンヌ校で建築を学んだ後、Herzog & de MeuronやOMAで経験を重ねてきました。BAUKUNSTは、「アートと技術を掛け合わせ、様々な知の領域を対話させながら、建築を通して建物への思考(BAU)と、思考そのものの構築(KUNST)を両立させることを目指す」と説明されるユニークな活動理念に基づく事務所です。

After studying architecture at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland, Adrian Verschuere gained experience at Herzog & de Meuron and OMA.
BAUKUNST is an office with a unique operating philosophy described as “combining art and technology, dialoguing and interplaying various forms of knowledge, committed to explore architecture as a medium with which both to think about buildings (BAU) as well as to build ways of thinking (KUNST).”
