Shohei Miyata, a project lecturer has been awarded JST NEXUS “Japan-Singapore international joint research” in the field of AI.
In collaboration with Associate Professor Adrian Chong of the National University of Singapore, the project aims to develop Mixed Mode Ventilation (MMV) control using reinforcement learning to achieve significant energy savings in air conditioning, and to promote international collaboration on its deployment in the ASEAN region.
From the University of Tokyo, Professor Yasuyoshi Akashi and Project Associate Professor Keiichiro Taniguchi will also be participating as collaborative researchers.
