The main emphasis of this studio is to grasp architecture in the context of urban space, and use this for the basis for constructing both a new design theory and practical architectural projects.
Recently, we have been developing means of analyzing the city in terms of void space, density, and landscape design, etc. Our focus is on putting the viewpoints derived from theoretical constructs and physical experiments into use in actual projects.
