SEKIUSI HOUSE – KUMA LAB Lecture: Mireia Luzárraga “Becoming Postnatural”

SEKISUI HOUSE – KUMA LAB will be hosting a lecture by Mireia Luzárraga from TAKK, who will be leading the International Design Studio in the Spring 2024 semester.

TAKK is an architecture and design studio based in Barcelona, founded by Mireia Luzárraga and Alejandro Muiño. Their projects investigate how architecture can foster more democratic living by incorporating feminist thought, ecology, and politics into spatial practices. TAKK’s award-winning work spans public and private realms for clients like museums, cities, design fairs, and brands. Their furniture is showcased by galleries like Side Barcelona and Camp Milan. TAKK’s work features in permanent collections and has been exhibited globally at biennales and institutions. The founders teach at architecture schools, and TAKK’s influential projects are published in leading magazines.
