ランドスケープを生み出す＜かたち＞とは何かを問う。
人と自然の交わりから顕われるランドスケープ、その社会的・自然生態的プロセスの理解を深め、その知見から人々の生活の場を創造する、
ランドスケープのデザイン学。
ランドスケープ、景観、風景、建築、都市などのキーワードを軸に、デザイン、形態論、設計論に興味があり、技術者としても研究者としてもその専門性を高めて行く意欲のある学生が集まっています。教育・研究ともに、設計プロジェクトの実践を通して、知見を社会に還元してゆくなかで、ランドスケープデザインはいかにあるべきかという問いを、一人一人が深めて行くための情報共有、議論の場として研究室は存在します。
感染防止を行いつつ、可能な限り研究室に集い、相互批評や意見交換を行う場を大切にしています。
ランドスケープのデザイン実践事例
テーマにした宿泊型体験施設の設計
建築の基本が住宅にあるように、ランドスケープの基本は庭園にあります。研究室では、近年、庭園に関する研究も進めています。
中国蘇州の庭園(2011-2013),韓国の別墅庭園(2014-2016),ベトナムのガーデンハウス(2017-2019),沖縄の民家庭園（2020-現在 ）などを継続し、中国庭園文化の派生と各文化圏におけるデザインの展開を横断的に見据える研究を行っています。

森林解析に用いられるレーザー測量とデータ解析のノウハウを応用した、新しい日本庭園研究に挑戦しています。

An inquiry is what the ‘form’ that creates the landscape is.
Landscape design studies to create a place for people through a profound understanding of landscape dynamics in the interaction between people and nature, social and ecological processes.
Students who are interested in design, morphology, and design theory, and who are eager to improve their expertise as engineers and researchers, are gathered around keywords such as landscape, architecture, and city.
For both education and research, the laboratory is a place for individuals to share and discuss their own knowledge of what landscape design should be, while returning knowledge to society through the practice of design projects.
(We value a place where we meet together as much as possible even under the situation of infection.)
Cases of Landscape Design Practice
